February 5, 2010 - Friday - Thank You Dinner at La Casa House
New Years has not come to a close just yet...not until Drake VASA says so. Join us on our Thank You Dinner event to celebrate our hard work on the Tet celebration this year. This will be a family-style event so you can bring food or beverages to contribute. Everyone is invited and bring a friend if you'd like.

Where: La Casa House - Hispanic Heritage
Come join us for a bun bo hue night at the Phan-Twins' house, that is Hung & Cuong. This event is made to celebrate the success of Drake VASA's TET celebration on Saturday January 23, 2010. It's also a good time to come together and watch the TET movies with fun and laughter.
When: January 30, 2010 at 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Where: The Phan Twins' House
Drake VASA will be hosting the annual Vietnamese New Year (TET) Celebration from 7:00pm - 11:00pm in Olmstead - Parents Hall at Drake University. Due to the cost of the program, the admission ticket will be $5/person. This will cover the food and tickets for the raffle. Bring your friends, family members, or anyone you know. Everyone is invited because this is open to the school, students, and the community. There will be raffle tickets, prizes, music, dancing, and lots of performances to enjoy.
December 11, 2009 - Friday - Christmas Potluck Party
Come join us for a Christmas Potluck party at La CASA, the Hispanic Heritage house, where students come together to enjoy their time before finals week. A great getaway on Dead Day at Drake.

Reason for change: October 2 is booked for another campus event.
September 6, 2009 - Sunday - Picture Day/Photoshoot
When: September 6 at 6:00 PM
Where: Greenwood Park (4500 Grand Ave, place where we had our Picnic last year-behind the art center)
Attire: Very much preferred black pants and solid colored tops.
Reason for change: This date can accommodate more of our members. :)
Everyone is invited! This means old/new/future members!
August 28, 2009 - Friday - Block Party
When: August 28 at 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Cultural Houses on University Avenue and 28th Street
Host: Collaboration between VASA, Rainbow Union, La Fuerza Latina, Coalition of Black Students, MASA and other multicultural organizations.
What: Exotic Asian cuisines, BBQ, a live DJ, and other fun activities. A very informal event where everyone is invited to have fun and enjoy great food before school gets rough!
August 27, 2009 - Thursday - Activities Fair
Drake VASA will set up a table booth at the Activities' Fair today from 5PM - 8PM in Parents' Hall of Olmstead building to share everything about their association. This event is hosted by the University and every associations, clubs, and societies share and recruit members to join their group. Come to the Drake VASA booth to learn more about us. There will be giveaway items from each table booths too.
